First I will talk about whats going on with the team right now, and then I will move on to some sexy screens of snowstorm.
  
  Recently, I have stepped up to take the position to take over development of Firearms Source, as Alex "Shinobi" wanted to get back focusing on developing his levels, as well as helping out in areas of the code where he can. He did an excellent job with FA:S and will continue to be helping us out, which we are greatly thankful for. Without Shinobi, we would be very far behind in development and he is one of the main reasons FA:S is where it is at today. From the first day I met him on the server when we were talking about the possible merger with Fireteam Incursion, to leading us through some rough times, Shinobi deserves great thanks from the FA:S community and developers. Now, you may wonder what I have to offer the community and the development team, but I have been a developer for FA:S since September 2006, going on 4 years, so I have the experience and dedication to follow this project to its release. I promise you the mod is in good hands. In regards to our current status, we underwent an unfortunate set back with our code, but the good news is we are back on our feet and plugging away for our 2010 release. Cale "Mazor" has been doing an excellent job programming for us, and some more good news is that FA:S will now be on the Orange Box engine. I will disclose this information in a formal news post, but I feel our dedicated community would appreciate this information now.
  
  
  
  
  
  In terms of my level design work, I have been able to get back to work on Snowstorm. Some of you knew, but I was in Germany studying abroad last semester, but now I am back and with a new gaming rig to do my development on. So I hope you enjoy those screenshots of Snowstorm. I have been trying to focus on finishing up the brushwork and the lighting on the map and its nearing its finish. Rubble is complete, besides its sound work and some lighting issues, and Iwojima will be undergoing some tropical makeover to make the most recent Iwo have a similar atmosphere to the previous version.

    I cant wait to have my new computer so i can play firearms again. Its been like 4 or 5 years since i havent tk'ed someone.
    So i have a few questions about the new firearms :
    
    - is FF enabled on most server ?
    - can you still plant claymore to kill teammates ?
    - can you still blow up ammo crates (with a claymore for exemple) to kill teammates ?
    - can you block the doorway on spawns with one exit only ?
    - can you shoot teammates back so that they fall off a cliff and break their leg, forcing them to lame ?
